I need to quit my job...

Something's not right. Every time I come in this place, there seems to be temptation surrounding me.

From the first day I got here, people were paying for lunch, taking me out and even filling the little green plastic pumpkin with chocolate delights (they know Reese's is my thang!)

Today was no different.

"Apple pie by the rdbks. help yourself."

Now, come on! I was just tellin somebody I was feenin fo some apple pie like Bobby's feenin fo anotha hit!

Get outta my head.

And, apple pie, get into my belly!

(OK, so I'm staying away from it. But that's just because it's 10 a.m.)

  • And please get off that no carbs crap. Yes it is effective, but only as long as you can keep it up. Everything in moderation. There's no way in hell anyone (let alone a black person- cornbread, dressing, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, cake, pie, need I go on?) can eliminate carbs from their diet. Its not reasonable and it just ain't right.

  • yo, man...you ever heard of "body for life"? it's an eating and exercise plan by bill phillips. the whole thing about it is restricting your guilty pleasures to one day a week. it's tough, but you won't deprive yourself completely of your favorite foods, nor will you be so tempted to binge. check it out.

  • I'm not getting rid of carbs altogether. Yeah, I've heard of body fot life. Tried it, but couldn't get through it. Thus begins my delve into a system that works for me - without totally depriving myself of all I love... lol

    Thanks for the love/MAW
